Bordered by 110 acres of a private conservancy and 162 acres of Hocking State Forest, it’s hiking trails provide private access to the State Forest. Designed in 2015 with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, it’s the perfect retreat for up to 4 people. Guests love the open floor plan wrap around decks, screened hot tub area, and star-gazer’s fire pit.

House is situated at the end of the road and is secluded and private
The large deck is great along with the views.
We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and also the wood burning stove inside.
The hot tub was a bonus during the evening after hiking all day.
Overall a nice place to stay for a short vacation.

Beautiful cabin that could use more TLC for guests.
The cabin is nice and set up pretty well. It has a nice location though not as secluded as I would have liked. The experience would have been much better if the supplies were actually in the cabin for 4 guests. We were given 2 towels for 4 people. There were no extra towels for the hot tub either. We could not shower for the entire weekend. Coffee was supplied, but no sugar or creamer of any kind. The outside trash can was full of trash I can only guess was from the previous guest.
Wonderful weekend cabin!
The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. The hot tub is lovely and is on a screened in porch that is very private. BookHocking has terrific signage at the location of each cabin which makes it easy to find.

Lovely accommodations. The house was clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We were looking forward to using the fire pit but it was too warm outside. We did still manage to enjoy the hot tub. Very very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful retreat
A real gem! We had a wonderful stay at Songbird cabin. So peaceful and quiet. We woke up to the birds singing everyday. The cabin is in close proximity to the caves and hiking trails. Everything was oerfect.
