This place was a perfect combo of the conveniences of home while being tucked away in nature.
It is a very private and quiet place. We had everything we needed and were thankful for the hot tub after lots of hiking.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for staying with us, Michelle!

A wonderful cabin in the wilderness that you can hike from the property.
We loved hiking from the cabin to 21 Horse Cave .It was muddy but we had proper boots and didn't have to get in the car after! The cabin was quite spacious and we enjoyed playing Yahtzee as there are games & movies. We built fires, and used the grill and stove and there are utensils to use and campfire sticks too. We stayed 3 nights in April. We enjoyed the hot tub also. The water is mineral-y well water so we googled a spring water spot and filled our jugs. Not one vehicle drove by our cabin.

Owner's reply: Thanks for staying with us, Wendy! Glad you enjoyed the visit!

Our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable.
We liked the firepit and the hot tub. The trails on the property were manageable and our dogs loved them. It was great to have the dog blankets for the furniture as our pups are spoiled and would not have understood no furniture. The lead for the dogs was great as we didn't think to bring ours. Cabin was quaint and serviceable for our stay. Only problem was getting the temper mental TV to work, even with new remote batteries.

Owner's reply: Thanks for staying with us, Lisa!

The cabin offered the perfect combination of rustic comfort in a quiet and serenely wooded setting.
Not only was everything as promised, but our expectations were exceeded. We loved the cozy layout of the cabin and the wonderful views of the secluded natural surroundings. We loved the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, hiking the easily accessible trails on the property, the nearby state park trails, and sitting at the fire pit at night, gazing at the stars. We especially appreciated the owners' fast response and accommodating assistance. We hope to return in the future.

Owner's reply: A pleasure to host you, Mark! We hope you have the chance to visit again. Thanks for being a great guest!

Peace
We loved the seclusion of the cabin and not hearing any vehicles or other noises . Was very peaceful. The only thing we would recommend is having the local book for sites ect out on table when arrive and grilling utensils and possibly some updated pans for kitchen . Otherwise everything else was great. Also a small porch with couple chairs would be nice for that cabin rained one night would have been nice to sit out and listen to it .

Owner's reply: Great suggestions, Harvey! Glad that you enjoyed the cabin and property! We will move the local information book to a more prominent location in the cabin. And we updated the grilling utensils and pans. Appreciate the note about those! We have talked about covering the back deck for sitting during the rain but we love the open air for the hot tub. But we will definitely consider it a bit more, thanks!
