Well needed rest and relaxation, far far into the hills.

We enjoyed the different furniture offerings, and were quite comfortable throughout our stay. The interior of the home was well kept, to date, and welcoming. Having a koi pond in the great room was nice as well! Beds in each room were very sturdy, very soft, and the linens were not overly bleached or otherwise strong to smell. Thoughtful hosts remembered almost every little thing one would need in the kitchen. Nice spot, would stay again.

The house is nice, but I would not stay here again

House was clean and has most everything you need. We had a couple of issues though. There was a constant knocking noise coming from the Koi pond. Possibly a pump. It was terribly annoying especially at night. Couldn’t get away from it. Also, every so often we would hear a loud noise like a door closing. We don’t know where it was coming from, but it was a little creepy at night. Last issue was the driveway, heavy rains washed parts of it away. It was pretty treacherous.

Beautiful & Peaceful

There's a lot to say about this beautiful space tucked way up in the mountain side (definitely take an AWD/higher sitting vehicle). Gorgeous views, lovely-modernized space with everything you could imagine using. We had some broken amenities (massage chairs, jacuzzi tub and tv). The TV was replaced immediately; staff to do so were extremely kind. For the price of the stay I would have expected a much cleaner place with all amenities working properly. Location for hiking trails is superb.

What a relaxing and beautiful place to stay!

Our family loved the house! We enjoyed the massage chairs and the record player. The kids loved watching the koi fish and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and sauna! It was spacious, clean and had activities for everyone.

Fairchild Haus is amazing but the driveway was pretty trecherous. Fantastic accomodations!

Unique offerings like sauna, hot tub, HUGE dual head showers and comfy beds made for a wonderful weekend. The super cool coy pond added nighttime background sounds. Massage chairs were fun and floor to ceiling windows made us feel we were outdoors even when inside. Loved the modern fixtures and overall decor. Kitchen was pretty well equipped, I think there was no frying pan and a few lids with no pots, but there were many kitchen and bar tools making food prep great and drinks fun.

The house was very nice.

Only 2 suggestions to make it better. Pull out dead plants in the planters on the rear deck and the driveway was a little tricky with the washed out ruts. Other than that would stay again.

Beautiful property close to the Hocking Hills State park

We enjoyed the proximity to the entrance of the state park with Old Man's cave. There is also a general store just down from the driveway. The house is very clean with some of our favorites being the record player, massage chairs and large deck!

Good time family!

It was an amazing property that was as advertised. Due to the septic tank for waste water, don’t be surprised that hand washing dishes is the better process. The environmentally friendly dishwasher powder is not great so if you use the dishwasher, take care to scrape and pre-wash well.

We had a beautiful family getaway and loved the cabin with all of the decadent !

The massage chairs, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, beautiful view and lovely koi pond made this feel so luxurious in the middle of the woods. The bathrooms and kitchen extras were amazing and made it easier to pack lightly.

Our stay was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Fairchild Haus was simply beautiful from the time we walked in! We took videos upon walking in because everything was so super nice! We came to relax and unwind from our busy year and we wanted to do something different since I lost my mom in July. Myself, my husband and our three adult children were all glad that we chose the Fairchild Haus and are already talking about our next stay there.

Amazing cabin on beautiful acreage

The cabin was great. The view on the back deck was beautiful. Comfortable amenities. For sure stay in this cabin again. Just one thing was the amount of camera on the property and house. Flet we had little privacy with the amount of cameras. I understand the need of a couple of them but their was more then 2 of them around the place. Other then it was a great stay.

This was the most enjoyable, peaceful, and relaxing vacations my wife and I had in a long time.

We renewed our wedding vows and drove here from Virginia. Once we entered the house, it felt so welcoming walking in to see the fishpond, the two massage chairs, and the Fairchild Haus sign on the wall. We were also pleasantly surprised with the size of the shower with the jetted tub on the lower floor. We were just amazed every day we were there. I even took notice to how well kept the grass was on each side of the grave road coming up the hill. This was a beautiful and well-built home.

The Fairchild Haus is a beautiful modern estate home nestled on a 30-acre secluded wooded lot. Loved the updated indoor amenities, including fish ponds, outdoor infrared sauna, hot tub, wood burning fireplace, including gas and charcoal grills! Spectacular forest view during the day and night from the upper deck!

This was a magical experience perfect for a short honeymoon.

The most relaxing stay we've had in the Hocking Hills.

We felt like the owner thought about the guest experience and curated every room just for us! It smelled wonderful with very thoughtful amenities. The lights under the beds were really cool! We've been telling our friends that they need to stay here!
